Wicklow County Council fail to secure €100,000 in sports funding for Bray
David has called on Wicklow County Council to carry out an internal investigation into its handling of two sports fund projects that has cost Bray €100,000 and lost the opportunity to provide much need sports facilities in the town.
Struggling families feel the squeeze of Budget 2012 – Part 1
The opening scenes played out in the Dail today, Monday 5th December 2012, have seen struggling families placed at the centre of a spray of cuts and slashes to public services and community supports. Those who will be most affected are families already finding it hard to get by with their incomes.
Cabinet vacancy should be filled by Wicklow TD
David has called on the Government to quickly fill the cabinet position left open following the resignation of Willie Penrose TD last month and to use the opportunity to promote one of Wicklow’s Government TDs.
